  1. Rebecca says:

Is this a “hands-on” working conference or teaching only…..??

    • Kelly says:

      Rebecca,
There will be some hands on sessions and some teaching sessions. Are you interested in a specific talk or workshop? If so, I can find out for sure whether or not it is hands on. My workshop, “How to be a freelancer” will be hands on and you can see a description if you click on the workshop title. All day saturday we’ll have a “WordPress Help Desk” where anyone can bring their laptops and ask questions to the experts. If you have any other questions, ask away!
      Kelly

  2. Janet says:

Do you have to be an AAF / AIGA Birmingham member to attend?

  3. Janet says:

    Thank you! I’ll do that.

  4. ROGENIA says:

Can you pay cash for a place at this workshop? If so, where.

    • saracannon says:

you can bring cash to registration day of if you like, but we can not guarantee that we will have a tshirt or lunch reserved for you. thanks!

  5. Laura Maxwell says:

Are the 9:00 and 9:50 WordPress for Beginners sessions the same, or they Part I and Part II ?

  6. Martina says:

So many topics to choose from! Will we get access to slides for all the presentations or only those we attend and do we need to sign up for the various tracks/sessions ahead of time?

    • You don’t have to sign up ahead of time for a presentation. It’s up to the presenter to share slides, but many put them on slideshare the same day. We’re also recording the presentations for publishing at a later date. So if you miss one, you can watch it later – though not as live and awesome : )

  7. Summer says:

how will the taped sessions be made available? and will they be free for attendees or for purchase?

    • saracannon says:

slides will be posted online soon, and videos at a later date all for free! check out wordpress.tv for videos from others camps as well.
