We are looking for partners to work with WP Y’all to support the growth of the WordPress community in the Greater Birmingham region, to highlight the Birmingham area, and to create connections and relationships in the industries utilizing the WordPress platform with others on the platform and in the community.
Who is WordCamp Birmingham: WP Y’all (as it has been dubbed) is the oldest WordCamp in the Southeast. It offers educational opportunities for the WordPress community and for anyone interested in learning more about WordPress or online content and business.
WordCamps are volunteer organized, volunteer staffed, and volunteer run. Every speaker, organizer, and keynoter attend WordCamp to engage, support, and serve the community. None of the positions are paid. In addition, WordCamps limit the cost to attendees to make the event accessible to users of all levels. The WordCamp Birmingham 2-day event only costs attendees $50.
