Arriving From The North And West
Due to a section of Interstates 20 and 59 being replaced through the middle of downtown Birmingham, directions are being provided to give you a stress-free route to WordCamp.
- For those arriving from the West, take I-20 East / I-59 North to I-65.
- Take I-65 South to exit 259B for 4th Avenue South.
- Continue East on 4th Avenue South for 1.4 miles.
- Follow the overhead signs for US 31 South by turning left on 25th Street South and immediately right onto the ramp for US-280 East / US 31 South.
- Continue on US 31 South for 2.3 miles.
- At the first traffic light, turn right on 28th Avenue South.
- Continue for two blocks and turn left on 19th Street South.
Arriving From The South And East
You should be able to use your GPS without any issues.
Getting Dropped Off?
Look for the circular driveway at 2850 19th Street South. Come in either of the two double doors in the center of the City Hall building.
Parking
Free parking is available in a level below the venue. Two entrances are available. The north entrance is on 19th Street South near 28th Avenue South. The south entrance is off 29th Avenue South between 18th and 19th Streets South. For the south entrance, look for the SOHO South sign. Both entrances are marked with a black sign stating PUBLIC PARKING.
Take the elevator near the north ramp or steps up one level. Enter the venue on the east side via the pair of double doors at the center of the building.
