“The Nuts and Bolts of Becoming a Full-Time Content Creator”
By Jacob Crawford
Jacob Crawford is this year’s Content Wrangler. Most of this year’s #wpyall content is his fault, including this post. He’s not sorry.
Jake is a copywriter. He specializes in social media, digital print, and video advertising, and he’s particularly handy at SEO and Google Ads.
His presentation, “The Nuts and Bolts of Becoming a Full-Time Content Creator,” will explore how Jake turned his blogging hobby into a full-time writing career and discuss the pitfalls that plague most freelancers – such as time management, finding clients, and filing taxes.
While it isn’t quite as easy-going or picturesque as most influencers proclaim it is, freelance content creation is an incredible job that allows writers, developers, designers, photographers, and filmmakers to express themselves in new, fun, and exciting ways.
By the end of the session, attendees should have all the tools they need to start their own freelance business.
