Beth (a.k.a. WPGrandma) built her first WordPress website in 2009 for a side business, was immediately smitten, and soon began building websites for other small businesses. In 2016, after a long (did I say long?) history as an IT Business Analyst, Instructional Designer, and Project Manager, she left the corporate world to become a full time WordPress Coach and Designer. Soon after, seeing a need in the community, she decided to share her knowledge to help others by forming the WP Project Manager’s Academy.
Beth rebranded her agency in 2022 as Triad Web Advisors to focus primarily on Website Discovery and Remediation. This provides the time she needs to continue developing and providing real-life project management skills training via The WP Project Manager’s Academy.
Beth also administers the WordPress Project Management Facebook group and contributes as an event organizer for the Triad WordPress Meetup Group.
Beth considers teaching her one true joy and has presented project management-related talks at various WordCamps across the country, at Venture Cafe Winston-Salem, the Triad WordPress Meetup, and has taught project management classes at Guilford Technical Community College’s Small Business Center in Greensboro NC.
In her spare time, what there is of it, Beth also enjoys visiting live music venues and occasionally performing locally.
